The road to being an All-American runs through our doors.
Acceleration Richmond, a proud member of the Athletic Republic, takes athlete development far beyond the weight room to a place where ground-breaking assessment tools, integrated video and performance management software provide an unparalleled framework for developing and evaluating the capabilities of today’s football player. Our science-based, position-specific training protocols and proprietary equipment help athletes from youth leagues to the pros improve their speed, power, agility and playmaking skills. That’s why we now provide training support for the U.S. Army All-American teams.
Acceleration Richmond will host a combine for local high school and middle school football players on Sunday, June 6, 2010 on the St. Catherine’s School campus at 2:00 p.m. Several athletes will be awarded a “Golden Pass” to participate in a Football University (FBU) mini-camp. Every participant in the FBU invitation only mini-camps will be exposed to Athletic Republic’s specialized football training program—from pre-camp assessment of gait, stability, strength and power, through mini-camp experiences that will enhance every athlete’s speed, power, agility and playmaking skills, to a sit-down, post-camp evaluation with each player and his parents.
If you’re looking to develop the explosive speed to separate from the pack and the explosive power to run over opponents equally in all four quarters of the game, talk to us. From Pop Warner to the pros, we can elevate your game to the next level. Now in its fourth year, FBU offers thousands of America’s best youth, middle school and high school football players the opportunity to be coached, by position, by former NFL players and coaches. “Football University is not just a football combine, it’s a three-day experience that focuses on technique, training and nutrition in both on-field and classroom settings,” said Rich McGuinness, President of FBU. “Our intent has always been to provide a ‘career changing’ experience, and the addition of Athletic Republic’s year-round approach to football training will help every player maximize their potential.”

FBU has a partnership with Rivals.com the premier athlete ranking system for college football.
“We look forward to complementing FBU’s focus on athlete development by adding our science-based testing methodologies, proprietary equipment and training techniques to the FBU offering. Together we can really help the player for whom every season is football season.” -Dr. Deborah Kelo, Manager of Acceleration Richmond.
